Episode Guide
Previous Episode: #10: Christmas lights
Next Episode: #12: Liquid soap

  • At only 1:33, this is the shortest episode ever. There isn't even an official intro done outside of the lab.
  • Jory doesn't say how long he put the match in Unnamed, and we'll never know, since Jon didn't create the microwave timer effect until season 5. However, on camera, the match was microwaved for 17 seconds.
  • Before the series became an official show on YouTube, this episode was flagged for the longest time. YouTube wouldn't unflag it because of the fire.
  • The microwave background at the end of the season 1-3 theme song and the background for the season 4-5 short theme song all had a still from the match being microwaved.
  • Ironically the length of this episode is the number of the longest episode.
  • This is the first "good idea" that isn't based on whether or not it's safe to microwave, but whether or not it's fun to watch.

  • Jory: There's no reason why you would ever have to microwave this. Don't ask why we're microwaving this!
