In this episode, the guys return to the lab for Halloween to microwave a pair of very real pig eyeballs, but they combine them with porcupine quills and Riley's costume moustache to make a witch's brew (however the main attraction is obviously the eyeballs). For the first time in over a year, the Jory Caron Laboratory is used, complete with tinfoil shield (specifically the season 9 incarnation). Ivanka was once again used in this episode, but she looked very used despite having been bought new for the cell phone episode in April. The eyeballs explode and shoot goo all over Ivanka's door which leads Jory to call her a "dirty girl". We also find out that Ivanka can only cook with her "express cook" setting. The guys promised to return for a Christmas special.

Because of Riley's comment "Because we don't have shit this season" after Jory introduces the lab, many fans believed that this was a return to a seasonal format after a few bonus episodes, and because of Jon's comments after correcting that notion about the bonus episodes being an unofficial 11th season (but he meant ALL the bonus episodes), episodes 304 and 305 are considered to be the 11th season since they were filmed on the same day in the same way the full season episodes were as well as being filmed in the JCM lab for the first time since episode 298, and only episodes 301, 302, and 303 are thought of as truly bonus episodes since they were filmed one time at a single location, thus making the two episode season 11 the shortest season ever.

Alternately, due to the long break between episodes 305 and 306, all of 301-305 is sometimes looked at as the 11th season and episode 306 is looked at as the 12th season debut.
